Are you a qualified solicitor or legal executive looking to develop your career within a supportive and forward-thinking professional services business?

At WBR Group, we're looking for a motivated Junior Property Solicitor to join our growing legal team in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied commercial property caseload while collaborating with specialist teams across the wider business.

You'll play an important role in delivering practical, commercially focused legal advice while building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

The Opportunity

As a Junior Property Solicitor, you'll manage your own caseload with appropriate support and supervision, working across a broad range of commercial property matters including:

  • Acquisitions and disposals
  • Commercial landlord and tenant work
  • Refinancing transactions
  • Drafting and negotiating sale contracts, transfers, leases, licences and security documents
  • Delivering commercially focused legal advice to clients
  • Supporting client retention and the development of new business opportunities alongside WBR Group's pension, tax and professional services teams
  • Maintaining high technical standards and continuing professional development 

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with excellent client service and commercial awareness.

You will ideally have:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive status
  • A minimum of 6 months' PQE in residential or commercial conveyancing
  • Experience managing your own matters and caseload
  • Strong client relationship and matter management skills
  • Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach and a commitment to continuous professional development
